Johanna M. Neumann, a catholic, and Michael Mamlock,
a member of what was once the largest Jewish family community in Berlin’s “Bavarian Quarter”, have jointly founded the
von Generation zu Generation – L `Dor Vador
as a model international project for education, remembrance and culture.
We are committed to keeping the memory of the Holocaust alive and
fighting genocide, anti-Semitism, racism and xenophobia. “The scale of the
Holocaust, planned and carried out by the Nazis, must be etched in our
collective memory forever. The selfless willingness to sacrifice of those who
oppose the Nazis and thus sometimes gave their own lives to protect or
save the victims of the Holocaust must also be written into our hearts. ”

about the Holocaust of January 28, 2000.
